The UC Santa Barbara SAT policy is test-optional for all freshmen applicants. UC Santa Barbara will be test-blind for freshman applications for fall 2023 and fall 2024. Thus, only 25% of students accepted to UC Santa Barbara had a GPA less than 4.04.
In 2020, UC Santa Barbara had an acceptance rate of 29.7%. Out of 93,442 applicants, 27,719 students were accepted.
