CPT exemption

You can pursue CA after graduation by getting the CPT exemption if you have the required percentage of marks

IPCC exams 

If exempt, you can begin your articleship and further take the IPCC exams. 

The percentage required for CA after graduation in commerce is a minimum average of 55% for commerce graduates or postgraduates 

Commerce Percentage cut off

The percentage required for CA after graduation in other streams is a minimum average of 60% for Arts/Humanities/Science graduates or postgraduates

You are eligible to take the Intermediate CA exam 9 months after your Articleship 

Post-Articleship eligiblity 

- IPCC is a 700 marks subjective exam    with 7 subjects. - To clear that you have to score 40    marks in each and get an overall    aggregate of 50% or above. 

IPCC Details 

IPCC has 2 groups of subjects, group 1 having four papers Accounts, Law, Taxation and Costing & FM and group 2 has three papers which are Audit, IT&SM and Advanced Accountancy. 

IPCC Group 1 

If you get more than 60 in any subject, you get an exemption which means that if you fail, you don’t have to repeat that paper in the next attempt. 

Exemption Advantage 

The candidate can appear for the CA final examination during the last 6 months of 3 years of articled training.
