Professor Deshpande has over 25 years of experience working as a print and television journalist for news organizations like The Times of India, The Pioneer, The Financial Express and India Today TV. Among her published works she has covered a variety of topics including environment, social development, public health, lifestyle, food and travel.
She has a Masters-level Diploma in Journalism and an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
With a total work experience of over eleven years, he has worked in the corporate sector in several capacities across IT, Digital Marketing and Renewable Energy areas before moving into academia. He was closely associated with IIT Tirupati, AISFM, Hyderabad, University of Hyderabad, Net Elixir, Intergraph and DREEMS.
His PhD thesis, ‘Telugu Print Cultures and Vernacular Modernity’ focused on the evolution of modern print cultures in native languages and their complex relationship with the colonial modernity.
His research interests are primarily in the areas of Media History, Communication and Cultural Studies, Cinema and Gender and Transmedia Studies.
Dr Rusha Mudgal is a Media Educator and Researcher. She completed her PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication with her thesis ”From Print to E-Newspaper: What Indian Readers Want” and since has taught at various reputed institutions and colleges.
With a keen interest in New Media and Communication Research, she is consistently involved in understanding influences of new media technologies on communication processes in the Indian scenario and has published various research papers with peer reviewed and refereed journals of repute.
During her previous experience in the field of Public Relations she worked closely with brands like Artemis Hospitals, Costa Coffee, McDonald’s and more.
Mr Chatwal has over twenty five years of experience in Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Higher Education Management and Strategy Consulting, working with organizations and Institutions of repute in India and in Canada.
He has consulted many SMEs on issues related to HR Strategy, Change Management, Process reengineering and Capacity building and helped them grow.
Currently he is working with Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal as Executive Director – JLU Foundation for Incubation & Entrepreneurship along with working as Director – Career Development Centre. In his last assignment, he has worked as Executive Director at CEDMAP.
Apart from his professional achievements, he is an avid reader and loves to contribute to the society on social and environmental causes.
Dr. M. Chitra is an Associate Professor in School of Entrepreneurship, Rishihood University. She has over 25 years of rich academic experience having served as a faculty member at various educational institutions including SRMIST and Bharath College of Science and Management.
She is passionate and committed to mentoring young talents towards entrepreneurial growth. Her areas of interest include Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Human Resource Management. She has co-authored numerous research papers in national and international journals. Her book titled “Women Entrepreneurs with reference to beauty clinics in Chennai” was published by LAP Lambert Academic Publishing.
She has conducted 7 editions of E-week to fuel the entrepreneurial mindset among students. Organized various events in collaboration with Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation, SRMIIC, BYST, National Small Industries Corporation – Government of Tamil Nadu, and many others.
PhD in the field of wastewater treatment from Delft University in the Netherlands, he is a biotechnologist by education and water technologist by research with research experience in a very multidisciplinary environment.
After completing his doctoral and postdoctoral research, he was involved in education programs aimed at inspiring high school students towards science and technology. He is very passionate about teaching and talking about science with a variety of audience including academics, policy makers, industrialists, students and the general public.
He also enjoys endurance sports, and likes running for marathons and cycling ultra-long distances.
Vinay Kumar is Associate Professor in the department of electronics and communication engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. His team focuses on Image Processing, Deep Learning for Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. He is an energetic, technology driven and learner centric teacher. He organized many international conferences and workshops, and delivered a few invited lectures.
With degrees like Bachelor of Law and Master of Law from the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law and University he has qualified UGC-NET in Law with over 15 years of experience in the field of legal and higher education in both administration and teaching.
At O.P. Jindal Global University Prof. Mishra, in addition to teaching and research work, has been leading efforts on admissions and outreach of Jindal Global Law School
Additionally, he is a Fellow at the International Institute of Higher Education Research & Capacity Building of JGU and teaches courses in Labour & Industrial Laws and Legal Methods to students pursuing LL.B. and BA/BBA LL.B.
His areas of research and writing include legal and higher education.
Professor Shekhar graduated with a B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) degree from National Law Institute University and holds an LL.M. with specialisation in Law and Development from Azim Premji University with his thesis critiquing the Essential Religious Practices test, which is now used as a standard by the constitutional courts in India.
He also has experience with Wipro Ltd., where he contributed as a transactional lawyer handling communications and consultancy contracts.
Before joining BMU, Mr Shekhar was an Assistant Professor of Law in Bengaluru. He has experience teaching core courses on Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure to undergraduate students and also took an elective on Right to Information.
His research interests include Law and Religion, Access to Justice and the Right to Information.
Mr Anubhav Raj Shekhar is passionate about teaching and developing new methods to ensure comprehensive skill-based learning.
